My Story

Hey!! I am Anandhu Murali and for the past 2 years I’ve been following what my heart is asking me to do and Iam working as a digital marketer. I always had a huge passion for digital marketing and was willing to work hard so that I achieve my dream.

Let me introduce the story of me jumping from one course to another and atlast becoming a heart follower i.e., a digital marketing expert in Kochi

Even after getting done with a pre degree, like every other backbencher I had no idea about where I’m supposed to lay bricks and start building my career. After digging into some random online career gurus I got an admission for B.S.C chemistry at S.N college chempazhanthy. Let me tell you one thing, the first few days as a college student were amazing and like every other teen even I had a blast at the beginning. But eventually I realised the fact that I and chemistry will never get into good terms. Yet I struggled and there I was standing in the centre of a highway after completing my degree hunting to answer a very common question — what next?? Once again I reached back to the same point of not knowing my destination. But I was pretty sure about one thing that chemistry should never again come in my path as it was really a pain in my head.
After those sweet plus bitter experiences of dealing with chemistry I used to spend time in my room with some bottle paintings and making handcrafts.

Life was pretty boring and felt like it was an empty box. I had nothing to do and faced the extreme of loneliness. Actually my greatest fear and irritation was neighbours doing their daily duty of asking the same question “is your course over? Are you trying for a job?

Later, I took a mechanical course like my father suggested. It was an interesting chance to learn more about the beat of engines as I always had a love for bikes and cars. I really enjoyed that course but still my heart was looking for something way bigger than those engines. With all those engines in mind I became crazy about heavy vehicles so I decided to be a driver and without even a blink I started so.
My search stopped at yet another interesting field and that was hotel management . The reason I chose this field is because it has a wide range of opportunities. When we look from outside all we have to say about this course is “wow!! such an amazing field to work in”. But all this thought of mine was short lived. Things are way different once we get into the sphere called hotel management.

After completing my diploma, I started working as food and beverage staff at Vivanta by Taj. It was a wonderful experience. That Job taught me patience. I started focusing on my career in the hotel management field and always thought about becoming a food and beverage manager. I was always curious to learn about new things and was working hard to reach my goal

Later I had an idea that every youth has to “jump abroad”. Not just an idea, I even started studying for the IELTS. I was always reading some random English books so that I could get better with english. Without going too far my plans for jumping abroad
I decided to move forward and believed that I can do even better which made me
take up a job in a hotel located at kannur. There i struggled a lot and the worst feeling i ever faced was people are looking at waiters like slaves. After a few months I quit my job and during that break I started working for Baskin Robbins .It was a simple part time job which I enjoyed a lot dropped due to family issues
I decided to move forward and believed that I can do even better which made me
take up a job in a hotel located at kannur. There i struggled a lot and the worst feeling i ever faced was people are looking at waiters like slaves.
After a few months I quit my job and during that break I started working for Baskin Robbins .It was a simple part time job which I enjoyed a lot.

Like always my mind started thinking about something greater which made me change my track to dialysis technician. In simple words it was like jumping from a tiny pit into a larger one. This was the worst decision I ever made in my life. Medical field is like a jail which keeps torturing students but i started studying harder to become the best at what i do. After entering I understood the truth that i had no future in that industry.The final destination is to become a dialysis technician and

a dialysis technician can never turn into a doctor. Even the payscale is very low.At this pay scale i can never achieve my dreams. And then came time to wave goodbye to dialysis colleagues.

Before saying goodbye to dialysis, I found out about a new industry ‘digital Marketing’. I started an advanced diploma course at digimark academy kochi. It was really interesting to study and was also challenging. After completing the course I learned digital marketing as a beginner but I didn’t have enough confidence to take action. So I started an internship at an IT company for 3 months.This period was a struggling one. During internship I didn’t have any salary.I had to find money for my survival. Did all kinds of part time jobs I could get to survive my internship period.I studied hard the various digital marketing areas, updations, tools etc
I liked digital marketing very much. Finally I got a job at a Digital Marketing firm. When I understood that this is my playground I played harder than others
